At COP28, the FACT Dialogue hosted an event at the UK Pavilion on December 10th, titled FACT: A dialogue on sustainable commodity trade for resilient food systems, people and climate. This interactive event built on the Dialogue’s objective to support sustainable trade while protecting people, forests, and ecosystems.

FACT will actively participate in the UN climate summit (COP28) by hosting a dedicated event on 10 December at the UK Pavilion. This event is a continuation of the ongoing FACT Dialogue, to support sustainable trade, whilst protecting people, forests and ecosystems.

In late March 2023, the Forest, Agriculture and Commodity Trade (FACT) Dialogue members gathered for their inaugural in-person retreat. This retreat served multiple purposes, including fostering strong relationships among governments, advancing the Action Items outlined in the FACT Roadmap for Action, and formulating strategic approaches to achieve FACT’s objectives over the next five years.
